What a Day!
The breeze was gone; the sun was out
It was terribly hot and blazing
It scorched the cows from where they stood
In a meadow happily grazing
It burnt up all the farmland crops
Because water was in delay
So who cared

To walk the streets that day

Swift, sweet beautiful
like a drink from the River Nile
You promise me ecstasy
sexual liberation
waiting there with bated breath at my response
