Oooo you know we’re all guilty of it: planning holidays in advance…our paychecks..summer days…endless nights. But what happens when life has other plans for you? You should have seen my list of new year’s resolutions at my 30th birthday this year ( I find them easier to keep when i do my yearly reviews) and where I’ve got to so far. natta. Ditto. Nothing.
It appears as if my lifepath had other plans for me…something involved a sperm meeting an egg. Now while Im trying to be thrilled about it (my 12week scan is next Tuesday and my vomiting bowl is still close at hand)..its hard to be happy if one didnt figure an extra person into the plan. Yes i know my husband and i arent getting any younger and we had been trying since January 2009…but i suppose the shock of succeeding while moving house and to a new job proved all too much to bear.
ive not had a good time of it so far…seeing that I only worked five days in January (this year) and considering whether China’s one child policy has some merit to it after all…(how can I go through this again)…Im patiently waiting for that stage in my pregnancy where im suppose to be glowing and bouncing with good health. Oo dont tell me its different for every women. My midwife and alll the books promised….and i check myself every morning to see if it’s come true. Not yet.
So im sorry i havent been online lately..now that im eating more than porridge for three meals a day and graduated to cornflakes instead…im hoping I can spend more time with you. After all…Ive three European cities to visit this year…and i will need lots of tips on how to travel with a swollen tummy and newborn baby. heehe…first parents eh…do you think im being a tad bit unrealistic?…
for now..just let me dream on..heehe…Hope you had a good year so far.
