You must be inside of my head! I had a chance to really think about this question yesterday, when sitting around with one of my supervisors. She told me that she only works because she has to, but most of the time she enjoys a freeing life of traveling with her boyfriends band and living in their tour bus. By most people’s standards, this would be unacceptable, but I could look in the corner of her eyes and tell that she could not think of anything else that she would rather do and she was actually happy. I was able to understand my own sense of happiness — knowing that I have the opportunity to enjoy my children and their beauty, having a home I can appreciate and eating good food — makes me happy. Thanks for bringing this idea back to mind.
