What have you given ‘thanks’ for lately?

God I give YOU Thanks for

 

My eyes that can see

My ears that can hear

My limbs that move

For hair on my head

Body parts that work

A mind that works

Friends who love me

My dear mom

My sisters

The pleasure of knowing my nephews

Telephones, emails and snail mail that allow me to keep in contact with my friends and family at home

A caring husband who appears to want the best for me

Who puts a roof over my head

Buys groceries for me so I don’t starve

Buys me stuff that I need

Thank you lord

For

Running water

Hot showers

Hot food

A warm place to lay my head

A job that suits me and gives me weekends off, nights at home and even extra holidays and special time off

Thank you lord for everything

Thank you

Thank you

Thank you lord

You continue blessing me

And I am grateful

That I should be so lucky

That I can walk where I want without persecution

That I can freely express my thoughts and beliefs

Go to a church I want

Have has much kids as I want

Be able to catch a bus that runs on time with really good service

For living in a country with so many freedom

For granting my visa an extension to stay here

For passing that life in the UK test

For having a car

To explore this country

To see the mountains, hills, valleys, seaside, trees, flowers

Changes in season

The coming of autumn

Shortening of days, sprinkling of snow

Thank you lord

Thank you

For this gift of speaking of people and helping to light their load

Thank you

For being able to write and draw and sing and dance

And see

And see

It all

To experience it all, life in it’s fullest

Thank you lord

You’ve been MORE than good to me

You humble me God

You humble me with your love and blessings

And I never want to forget what you do for me

You love me

Care about me

And open up your hand to satisfy EVERY

Living thing on earth
